		Static- X The Only Static-X's latest album The Only hit stores on October 7 last year and is still hitting new highs with new and oldschool Static-X fans. Different from their previous 2 albums (Wisconsin Death Trip,1999 and Machine,2001) and short, not even 40 mins. In this album Wayne realised that he can sing instead of screaming. Other factors that contibuted to Static-X's change in sound was that this was the first album that Tripp Eisen helped writing the lyrics with Wayne and that Ken wasnt there, replaced by josh freeze from A Perfect Circle. But the X's new parnament drummer is now Nick Oshiro. Look out Australia because Static-X are touring the country with other famous acts such as KORN, FEAR FACTORY and unfortunently Sunk Loto, Australia's own version of Lost Prophets. I hope Wayne and Jonathan Davis kill them all. STATIC-X - THE ONLY: 4 out of 5		StaticX- Im with stupid

		KORN TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR Take a look in the mirror is Korn's latest record and I think its by far the best. The record was greatly affected by financial problems Jonathan is going through and the death of Munky's mother. And because of these occurances the album has a much angrier, darker and all round fucking brutal Evanescence Evanescence, the latest nu-metal band to hit the top of the charts airwaves. With their single "Bring me to Life" hitting number one here in Australia for 5 weeks in a row! Ive had the privilage of meeting Amy Lee (vocals) and Ben Moody (lead guitarist). They both played an acoustic set for myself and a handfull of others later signing albums and singles. Amy, was quit extatic about being here in Oz and wasnt shy when coming to show it either. Ben didnt seem to mind, tickling Amy while on stage. Back to the album, it is a great mix of classical piano and singing with the metal twist.
